Civilian Overview
Civilian members are hired to provide for a specific service directly related to a particular area of expertise such as Special Constables, Communications, Records Clerks, Switchboard Operator, Information Technology, Human Resources, Forensic Technicians, Secretarial positions. 
Salary Ranges for 2009

Grade B:           $36,210.18 - $42,600.21
Grade C:           $40,834.66 - $48,040.78
Grade D:           $46,043.97 - $54,169.38
Grade E:           $51,916.60 - $61,078.35
Grade F:           $58,530.07 - $68,858.91
Grade G:           $65,983.43 - $77,627.57
Grade H:           $74,392.53 - $87,520.62

Civilian Shift Rotation
Many of our civilian positions follow a 35-day shift rotation. These positions include:

  •  Records Clerk
  •  Communicator
  •  Front Desk Clerk
  •  PC Support Technician
  •  Platoon Team Leader, Records Branch
  •  Special Constable (Cellblock assignment)
