Drug Paraphernalia

What is It? drugs_cocaine2
Drug paraphernalia is anything that is used in connection with drug use, possession or trafficking. Many of the items are common and can be found in most homes. One of the items alone may not indicate involvement with illegal drugs. However, one or more of the items in combination with behavioral signs can be a strong indicator of drug activity.

What Do I Do?
If you spot drug paraphernalia and suspect someone you know is using illegal drugs, it is important the take immediate action. If you are comfortable confronting the individual, treatment or counseling may be the best option.

If you spot drug paraphernalia in a public area or are not comfortable dealing directly with the individual, the police should be contacted. Drug paraphernalia can be very dangerous if not handled properly.

If you suspect drugs are being sold, contact police at (519) 653 7700.
