This is a request application to interview an officer/officers involved with the investigation of a motor vehicle collision. Insurance companies and law firms usually make this request.

Do not use this request for reconstruction reports, reconstruction interviews, reconstruction measurements or diagrams.

Information for Release

In accordance with the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (MFIPPA), no third party information will be released during an interview unless prior written consent is provided in advance. If the matter involves charges against a Young Person strict limitations may exist on the information that can be provided per the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

Information regarding reconstruction reports, reconstruction interviews, reconstruction measurements or diagrams may not be released through this process.

How much?


$65 per hour, plus GST, with a one hour minimum and a three hour maximum. You will be invoiced upon the completion of the interview.

How Long?


Interviews are dependent on the officer’s schedule and will be arranged at a time convenient for both parties. Upon receipt of the request an interview scheduler will be in contact with you to arrange for the interview.
