The Waterloo Regional Police Service (WRPS) conducted its fourth Community Survey in 2011. Previous surveys were completed in 2007, 2003 and 2000. The survey asks residents of Waterloo Region about their perception of crime, fear of crime, contact with WRPS and opinions on policing priorities.
The 2011 Community Survey was conducted by Metroline Research Group Inc. and designed by staff in the Research and Planning branch at WRPS. The survey was conducted over a 4 week period in the month of July. A total of 502 telephone surveys were completed through random digital dialling.
