If you need to report a crime or a complaint, please contact police using your telephone. For emergencies, please dial 911.  For non-emergencies, please dial (519) 653 7700 in Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge or (519) 570-3000 from all other areas.

We cannot accept reports of incidents through Email.


Prevention is our ultimate goal. Through this model, response prevention is not only achievable, it is also sustainable.

The Waterloo Regional Police Service’s Domestic Violence Investigation Branch is made up of three units; the Domestic Violence Unit, The Elder Abuse Response Team and the Victim Services Unit.  The Branch consists of a Staff Sergeant, three Sergeants, twenty one Detective Constables, two Counselors, one Nurse and one Support Staff.

We are located on the second floor of the Mosaic Counselling and Family Services Centre at 400 Queen Street South in the city of Kitchener.  We can be contacted at (519) 579-9668.
