  • PRIDE Project Coordinator - System Analyst

    GENERAL PURPOSE:
    To take a project management coordinator role in the analysis, planning, design, development,  implementation and maintenance of database and project solutions for the integrated solutions including the Police Regionalized Information Data Entry (PRIDE) group (Brantford, Guelph, Stratford, and Waterloo Regional Police Services).  To plan systems changes, enhancements and training, with the major objective of improving business efficiency, information quality, timely and appropriate availability of information, and rules-based system interaction.  Supervises the Programmer Analyst and the PRIDE Computer Programmer.

  • Programmer Analyst

    GENERAL PURPOSE:
    To analyze, design, develop, implement, document and maintain information systems.  To assist in research of new technologies applicable to the advancement of the police service.  To provide training and support to members of the police service.

  • Public Affairs Coordinator

    GENERAL PURPOSE:

    To develop, implement and evaluate communication and public relations strategies and programs designed to inform members and the general public of organizational initiatives and policies.  This includes drafting news releases, developing background information, and coordinating briefings to media representatives; promoting the image of WRPS and the service’s community mobilization philosophy; monitoring electronic and print media coverage of issues impacting policing and of the service’s activities; and advising service staff on media and public relations.

  • Records Clerk

    GENERAL PURPOSE:
    To  provide reception, telephone and clerical support to all job functions within the Records Branch, including entering, verifying and updating information on the computerized Canadian Police Information Centre system, local police records management systems, and responding to requests for information. 

  • Records Clerk - Charges

    GENERAL PURPOSE:

    To maintain Charge entries and Court Orders within the Records Services Branch.

  • Records Clerk - Criminal

    GENERAL PURPOSE:

    To maintain criminal records within the Records Services Branch.

  • Records Clerk - Reader - Coder

    GENERAL PURPOSE:

    To read occurrence reports and assign Statistics Canada Uniform Crime Reporting coding; to assign in-house coding; and to prepare statistics and reports.

  • Records Clerk - Warrants

    GENERAL PURPOSE:

    To maintain warrant files within the Records Services Branch.

  • Records Clerk PRC

    GENERAL PURPOSE:
    To prepare and facilitate the distribution of collision reports to participating insurance companies, non-participating insurance companies and parties with interest.
     

  • Recruiter Analyst

    GENERAL PURPOSE:
    Reporting to the Human Resources Director and Human Resources Sergeant this position provides administrative support to the Human Resources Branch by coordinating the recruitment and selection processes for internal and external civilian positions up to the position of manager.  To provide support to the Human Resources Branch on various employment related matters, including recruitment initiatives.
