Police seek suspect in death of Kitchener man- SUSPECT ARRESTED |

Waterloo Region, Ontario – Waterloo Regional Police continue to investigate a disturbance on Scott Street in Kitchener early Saturday morning in connection with the death of a 24 year old Kitchener man.
As a result of the ongoing investigation, police identified 25 year old Frederick LUTTERODT as a homicide suspect.
Late last evening, Waterloo Regional Police, with the assistance of members of Peel Regional Police, located and arrested the suspect at a residence in Brampton, Ontario. The suspect was arrested without incident and transported to Waterloo Region.
The suspect is charged with Murder-Second Degree and will make a video appearance in court today. No other arrests are anticipated.
A residence in Brampton is being held by police pending the execution of a search warrant.
Shortly before 3:00 a.m. on Saturday the 21st of November 2009, Waterloo Regional Police received several 911 calls reporting a disturbance outside a Scott Street, Kitchener night club. The victim, Paul Joseph Smith, was located and taken to Grand River Hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
