Waterloo Regional Police seek suspect in death of Kitchener man PDF Print E-mail

Waterloo Region, Ontario – Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a disturbance on Scott Street in Kitchener which resulted in the death of a 24 year old Paul Joseph Smith of Kitchener.


Shortly before 3:00 a.m. on Saturday the 21st of November 2009, Waterloo Regional Police answered several 911 calls reporting a disturbance outside a Scott Street, Kitchener night club.  The victim was located suffering from extensive injuries and was taken to Grand River Hospital where he later succumbed to his wounds.  

As a result of the ongoing investigation, the Waterloo Regional Police have identified 25 year old Frederick LUTTERODT, most commonly known by the nickname "Snipes", as a homicide suspect.

A warrant for LUTTERODT’s arrest is currently being sought by police. LUTTERODT is described as a black male, 5"7", 146 lbs, with a Caribbean accent.  He has a tattoo on his neck that reads “TIANA 12.08.05” and was last seen wearing a baby blue sweater, a white “hoody”, a white “dew rag” on his head covered by a blue baseball style cap. He is known to frequent Kitchener and Brampton.

LUTTERODT is to be considered armed and dangerous and should not to be approached. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call the Waterloo Regional Police Service at 519-653-7700 ext 8654 or Crime Stoppers at 1800-222-TIPS.
