Incident # 12-174782 Type : Robbery
GREENFIELD PARK, KITCHENER ON CANADA (AREA: WC
On Thursday July 26, 2012 at approximately 9:50 pm four young teens were approached by an unknown male in Greenfield Park in the area of Greenfield Ave and Traynor Ave. in the city of Kitchener.
The unknown male approached one teen with a knife and demanded the others teens empty their pockets.
The unknown male walked away with a small amount of cash and a watch. No injuries were sustained.
The teens described the male as: White, approximately 6'0 tall, 150 lbs, approximately 20 years old wearing dark clothing and white shoes and a mask that covered his nose and mouth. The male fled the scene on foot towards the Wilson Ave area.

NINTH AVE, KITCHENER
Friday, June 8, 2012 at 5:30 p.m., two nine year old females were approached in the area of Ninth Avenue and Connaught in the City of Kitchener, by an unknown Asian female. The subject grabbed one of the females and asked if she wanted to go home with her. An adult in the area intervened and the subject fled on foot towards Kingsway Drive.
Suspect is described as Female Asian, 40-50 years old, 5 feet tall, skinny, wearing a floral shirt, dark shorts.

On June 8, 2012 two nine year old females were approached by an unknown Asian female.
As a result of the media release, two eleven year old females contacted police as they had been approached by a female with the same description in June 2011.
The unknown female was identified through police investigations, the public and media involvement. The 50 year old Kitchener resident was arrested on August 2, 2012 and charged with two counts of Attempt Abduction.

On August 1st, 2012 Central Division Detectives arrested and charged two young persons for their involvement in this "person-on-person" street robbery.
Two Kitchener males age 13 and 16 are charged with Robbery and will be appearing in court in September to answer to the charge.
