Incident # 12-194853    Type : Robbery    
SYDNEY ST, KITCHENER ON CANADA
On the 19th of August, 2012 at approximately 11:40 p.m., a motorist was travelling north on Sydney St near Nyberg St in f Kitchener when a male stepped in front of her vehicle forcing her to come to a sudden stop.

The driver initially believed the male as in need of assistance. The male approached the car and reached in through the open window, grabbing hold of the driver's shirt sleeve.

The male demanded the vehicle, at which time the driver sped off.

The male was last seen running towards Rockway Golf Course. Officers assisted by the police canine searched the area with negative results.

The male suspect is described as White, approximately 39 years of age, 5'9", 210-220 lbs. with a thin build, dirty blonde hair, balding at the front, wearing a white hooded sweatshirt with black lettering or a logo on the front, baggy blue jeans and dark shoes.

The suspect may have injured his arm during the incident.

Incident # 12-193012    Type : Robbery    
DUKE ST E, KITCHENER
On Friday August 17, 2012 at approximately 715pm an unknown male robbed a business on Duke St E in the city of Kitchener.

The male entered the store appearing to be carrying a gun in his pocket and demanded money. The male then left the location heading East on Duke Street.

The suspect is described as White, approximately 50-55 years old, thin build weighing approximately 150 lbs, scruffy short beard, sunglasses, and a black baseball hat.

No one was injured during this incident.

Incident # 12-194288    Type : Break and Enter    
DANIELLS CRES, WILMOT
On Sunday August 19th 2012 at approximately 7:30am a residence on Daniells Crescent in New Hamburg was broken into.

The owner arrived home interrupting the incident. The suspect fled in a red Ford pickup truck along with a female accomplice after taking money and jewellry.

Some of the jewelry and other items were thrown onto the roadways between New Hamburg and Kitchener. Police are requesting anyone who finds any items on the roadway to call.

The suspects were stopped by the OPP in the town of Courtland around noon on the same day. Both fled on foot and a foot chase ensued.

Ashely BAYHAM, 25, of Brantford was arrested and has been charged by Waterloo Regional Police with Break and Enter, Theft Under and Possession of Stolen Property. She was released on a Promise to Appear with a court date of October 4, 2012

The male suspect remains outstanding.

Police are still investigating other possible break ins in Wilmot Township, Norfolk County, Oxford County and Brant County.

Incident # 12-194902    Type : Theft under 5000    
MICHELLE CRT, KITCHENER
On Monday August 20, 2012 at approximately 1:40 am Police responded to to the area bound by Highland Rd, Victoria St, Ira Needles Bv and West Forest Trail in the city of Kitchener regarding a report of males attempting to break into vehicles.

Upon arrival police located an 18 yr old Kitchener male on Dawn Ridge Drive. The male was arrested and charged with 4 counts of theft under $5000, 4 counts of possession of stolen property under $5000 and 4 counts of tresspass at night.

The male was held for a bail hearing.

Incident # 12-194883    Type : Break and Enter    
PRINCESS ST E, WATERLOO
Just before 1am on Monday August 20th, 2012 , a break and enter of a residence occurred in the area of Princess Street, in the city of Waterloo.The home owners were home at the time and scared the suspect(s) off.

There is no suspect description.

Incident # 12-194859    Type : Break and Enter    
DORSET ST, WATERLOO
On Monday August 20th, 2012 at approximately 12:00am a break and enter of a residence occurred in the area of Dorset Street, in the city of Waterloo.

A mountain bike was stolen from inside the residence during this break and enter. There is no suspect description.

Incident # 12-194481    Type : Motor Vehicle Collision - Hit and Run    
SNYDERS FLATS RD, WOOLWICH
On August 19, 2012 a Pontiac motor vehicle was parked at Snyders Flats in Woolwich Township. This motor vehicle was involved in a Hit and Run collision, where a second vehicle pushed this vehicle from the parking lot, onto the roadway. The suspect vehicle will have a rusted trailer hitch. The suspect vehicle left the scene. Police are seeking any witnesses to the incident. Witnesses are asked to call 519-650-8500 / 519-570-3000, ext. 3399 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
