Incident # 12-183394    Type : Property Damage    
EAST AVE, KITCHENER
On Monday August 6, 2012 at 0730, Waterloo Regional Police on patrol located garbage bins and wood set on fire at the Kitchener Auditorium Skate Park, 400 East Avenue in the City of Kitchener.

Police also discovered that cans of paint had been dumped throughout the park.

Kitchener Fire Department responded to put out the fire. Damage to the skatepark is approximately $1000.

The investigation is continuing and Waterloo Regional Police ask for any witnesses to call 519-653-7700 ext. 4499 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.

Incident # 12-182671    Type : Theft under 5000    
HARMONY CRT, CAMBRIDGE
Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a series of thefts from motor vehicles that occurred in the early morning hours of August 5, 2012 in the City of Cambridge.

Nine vehicles were entered on Harmony Court including one that had a window smashed to gain access. Loose change, and a bicycle were stolen as a result.

Waterloo Regional Police would like to remind the public to keep their vehicles locked while unattended.

Incident # 12-182126    Type : Sudden Death    
VICTORIA ST N, KITCHENER
On August 3rd, 2012 at approximately 2:50 p.m., Waterloo Regional Police responded to a report of a body found near the train tracks in the area of Victoria Street North and Lancaster Street West, Kitchener.

The investigation is ongoing however the death is not considered suspicious and police are not looking for any suspects.

Incident # 12-183335    Type : Robbery    
FOUNTAIN ST N, CAMBRIDGE
On the early morning hours of August 6, 2012 an assault occurred at a residence on Fountain St in the city of Cambridge.
Unwanted guests showed up to attend a large private party and assaulted one of the attendees with a metal pipe, fists and empty bottles.

Eight suspects then fled in a Silver Dodge Caravan and a white Ford Flex.

The victim had only received minor injuries which did not require any medical attention. It is believed that the suspects also stole the victim's iPhone.

Police are requesting the assistance from anyone who may have witnessed this incident, to help possibly identify the suspects.
