Incident # 12-041565    Type : Proactive Initiative/Enforcement    
CONCESSION ST, CAMBRIDGE ON
On February 21, 2012, police conducted a proactive road safety enforcement initiative in Cambridge.

Just before 11am, officers stopped a vehicle on Concession Street to check on the sobriety of the driver. As a result, the driver was arrested at the scene and held for evaluation by a qualified Drug Recognition Expert (DRE) officer.

A 43 year old Cambridge male was subsequently charged with Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle by Drug and held for a show cause hearing on February 22, 2012.

This male is also scheduled for a court appearance in Cambridge on February 23, 2012 in answer to a charge of Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle by Drug in connection with a motor vehicle collision in October 2011.
