Incident # 12-258769 Type : Robbery
FOUNTAIN ST S, CAMBRIDGE
Ont the 2 November 2012 at approximately 512am Waterloo Regional Police responded to a report of a robbery at the Canadian Tire gas bar on Fountain St. South in Cambridge.
A lone male described as White, 5'10, wearing a dark coloured winter jacket with fur trimmed hood entered the business and demanded cash while brandishing a weapon.
The male left with an undisclosed amount of cash and was last seen fleeing on foot northbound on Shantz Hill from Fountain St S. No injuries were sustained.

Incident # 12-258349 Type : Auto Theft
CONESTOGA BLVD, CAMBRIDGE
On 1 November 2012 at approximately 3:25 p.m. two unidentified suspects drove to a parking lot at 549 Conestoga Blvd in Cambridge in a white SUV with dark tinted windows and a sunroof.
The suspects sat in the employee parking lot for approximately 5 minutes and then at approximately 3:31 p.m. they pulled in front of a 2007 bright yellow H2 Hummer.
The driver exited the SUV and approached the driver's door of the H2 and gained access in less than a minute without smashing the window.
The driver then started the H2 and drove off with the white SUV following.

Waterloo Regional Police Service would like to remind the public to report any suspicious vehicles or activity in parking lots and encourages vehicle owners and operators to remember to lock their vehicles and consider a secondary locking mechanism or electronic tracking to assist as a deterrent for these types of crimes. Parking in high visibility areas and in in well lit areas during evening hours if possible is also recommended.
Incident # 12-258102 Type : Drugs
ROSE ST, CAMBRIDGE
On November 1, 2012, Waterloo Regional Police conducted a drug enforcement initiative following complaints that illicit drug transactions were occurring on the property of Preston High School during lunch hour and breaks.
As a result of the investigation, three male teens were arrested outside of the school. Two males were charged with a number of drug-related offences. The third male was released with a caution.
Quantities of marihuana were seized from all three males.
In the interest of community safety, the Waterloo Regional Police Service is committed to investigating incidents of illegal drugs and drug activity. Anyone becoming aware of any suspicious activity is encouraged to contact police.
Incident # 12-253704 Type : Suspicious Person
PINEBUSH RD, CAMBRIDGE
Waterloo Regional Police are currently investigating two suspicious males and a suspicious female who attended the Chuck-E-Cheese located 42 Pinebush Road, Cambridge between 4:30pm and 7:00pm on Friday, October 26, 2012.
One of the males was observed approaching a young customer within the restaurant. He is described as male possibly Asian, approximately 65 years old, 5'10", 200lbs, white hair, and a heavier build. He was wearing a blue shirt, a sage green jacket, blue jeans, clean shaven and square rimmed glasses.
The male was accompanied by a female described as female Asian, 35 years old, 5'10", approximately 160lbs. She was wearing a dark puffy jacket, blue jeans, and black running shoes.
The third male is described as male, possibly Caucasian, 220lbs, wearing a dark blue winter jacket, blue jeans, possibly a white shirt, blue ball cap, and black running shoes

Incident # 12-258854 Type : Motor Vehicle Collision - Injuries
KING ST E, KITCHENER
On November 2, 2012 at approximately 8:45 am three vehicle were involved in a collision on King Street East in front of the access road to Freeport Hospital in Kitchener.
Investigation revealed that a Kitchener man fell asleep while driving his 1996 Oldsmobile east on King Street East.
His car crossed over a left turn lane and then into on coming traffic when it sideswiped a 2011 Mazda being driven by a Cambridge woman. The Oldsmobile then collided head on with a 2004 Chrysler.
Both occupants of the Chrysler, who are from London; the lone occupant of the Oldsmobile and the lone occupant of the Mazda went to local hospitals with non-life threatening injuries.
The driver of the Oldsmobile was charged with Careless Driving under the Highway Traffic Act. King Streeet was closed for several hours while police conducted the on-scene investigation.
Incident # 12-257966 Type : Fire
JANSEN AVE, KITCHENER
On November 1, 2012 at approximately 7:23am, ermergency services responded to a report of a residential fire on Jansen Avenue in Kitchener.
Inside the home, responders found indications of possible illegal drug activity and members of the Drug Branch responded.
Upon further investigation, police seized approximately 175 live plants and drug grow equipment.

PINEBUSH RD, CAMBRIDGE

Investigation has revealed that there was no abduction attempt at Chuck-E-Cheese, located at 42 Pinebush Road, Cambridge. Detectives are satisfied that the contact between the male and the child was as the result of a misunderstanding. No charges will be laid.
