Incident # 12-246854 Type : Theft under 5000
FAIRWAY RD S, KITCHENER
On October 18, 2012 police responded to Sears located at 200 Fairway Rd. S. in the city of Kitchener after loss prevention officers had detained a 20 year old Kitchener male for stealing a jacket.
Police allege that the male was found to have numerous identity documents in his possession that did not belong to him, as well as stolen credit cards, cheques, and pieces of mail. Many of the items found contained aliases that were allegedly being used to defraud the public. A small quantity of drugs were also found on the male.
The male was transported to Central Division where he faces charges of Theft, Possessing Stolen Property, Breaching Probation, Possessing a Controlled Substance, Unlawfully Possessing Government Identification, and Forgery. He was held for showcause.
Incident # 12-247363 Type : Impaired Driver
ST ANDREWS ST, CAMBRIDGE
On the 18th of October 2012 at approximately 11:35 p.m., an adult male was operating a vehicle on St. Andrew's Street in city of Cambridge.
he driver stopped for pizza and witnesses contacted the police in the belief that the driver was intoxicated. Thanks to their quick actions, the driver was located and identified by police.
He was arrested and charged with Impaired Operation of Motor Vehicle, Over 80, and Dangerous Driving. He was also charged with Possession of Stolen Property in connection with the vehicle he was driving which had been reported stolen in New Brunswick. A a stolen Quebec license plate was located in the trunk.
The driver, a 33 year old male of no fixed address, was held for a bail hearing in the morning.

Incident # 12-247270 Type : Robbery
NORTHLAKE DR, WATERLOO
On October 18, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. a Waterloo youth was robbed of his personal belongings while at the Optimist Park on Northlake Drive.
A friend of the youth attempted to intervene at which time he was assaulted by one of the three suspects. He received minor injuries. The three suspects are described as white males of average height and build.

Incident # 12-247180 Type : Robbery
KING ST S, WATERLOO
On October 18, 2012 at approximately 6:20 pm a male entered the Dairy Queen located at 212 King St S, in the city of Waterloo. The suspect demanded money and mentioned he had a knife. The suspect left with a quantity of cash.
Police were called and checked the area with the aid of K9 but were unable to locate the suspect.
The suspect is described as a White, late teens, wearing a black hooded jacket with white pin stripes in a plaid pattern and white shorts having a bandanna around his face.
