Incident # 12-235394    Type : Offensive Weapons    
WEBER STREET EAST, KITCHENER
On Thursday October 4, 2012, shortly after 4:00 pm, police responded to the area of Weber Street East and Fergus Avenue in the city of Kitchener in response to the complaint of a firearm being brandished by one male towards another male.

The suspect fled the scene on foot and could not be immediately located. The lone male suspect turned himself in to police early in the morning on Friday October 5, 2012 without incident.

The suspect was held for a bail hearing, charged with pointing a firearm, assault and uttering threats.

This is a targeted act of violence. The victim and the suspect are known to each other. The firearm was not discharged and no injuries were sustained as a result of this incident. Investigators are still searching for the firearm.

VANIER DR , KITCHENER
Police are seeking the public's assistance in locating a missing person. Katerina ALLAN-DESPAUL is a 23 year old female Kitchener resident. ALLAN-DESPAUL was last seen at approximately 6:00 pm on October 3, 2012 at her residence in the Fairview Park Mall area.

ALLAN-DESPAUL is described as; white, 5'5, 108 pound, long brown hair, and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a white hoodie, pink shirt, blue jeans, white shoes and was riding a red and white mountain bike.

Anyone with information on ALLAN-DESPAUL'S whereabouts is asked to call police at 519 653 7700 ext 4499 or Crime Stoppers.
