Incident # 12-237888 Type : Auto Theft
HWY / -NAFZIGER RD, WILMOT ON CANADA ( NEWHAMBURG
On Sunday October 7, 2012 at 3:15pm, Waterloo Regional Police patrolling in Wilmot Township located a stolen vehicle with stolen plates westbound on Hwy 7/8 in near Foundry St.
Police signaled the vehicle to stop at which time it slowed but then continued. Officers pulled along side the vehicle and visually identified the occupants. The driver of the subject vehicle then pulled over..
A 26 year old male and 34 year old male, both from Cambridge, were arrested. The two face several charges including property and driving offences along with some outstanding warrants.
Incident # 12-238988 Type : Fire
BRIERDALE RD, CAMBRIDGE
On October 9, 2012 at 142am, police responded to a report of a vehicle fire at 25 Brierdale Rd in the City of Cambridge.
Upon arrival a silver Cavalier with flames coming from one side was located in the parking lot. Cambridge fire department attended and extinguished the fire.
There were no injuries as a result of the fire and approximate damage value is estimated at $1000.

Incident # 12-238957 Type : Assault
MOOREGATE CRES,
On October 8, 2012, two Kitchener males got into a fight in a Kitchener apartment after having consumed alcohol.
The altercation escalated and both individuals grabbed kitchen knives.
One male was transported to hospital for minor injuries and was subsequently released. Two males, ages 22 and 25 years, have been charged with various weapons offences and were held for a show cause hearing.
Incident # 12-236762 Type : Robbery
AHRENS ST W,
On October 6, 2012 at approximately 3:00 a.m., a 27 year old male was the victim of a break and and entry with violence at an Ahrens Street residence in Kitchener.
Three male suspects brandished a weapon and cash was stolen from the victim.
A 48 year old woman and two children were also in the residence. The woman received minor injuries which were treated at hospital and the children were unharmed and did not witness the incident.
Police believe this incident is targeted.

Incident # 12-236235 Type : Motor Vehicle Collision - Injuries
ARTHUR ST S, WOOLWICH
On October 5th, 2012 at 4:40pm a cyclist was struck by a southbound motor vehicle on Arthur St. S in St.Jacobs after attempting to cross to the west side of Arthur St, S.
Emergency services responded and closed both lanes of traffic.
A 68 year old St. Jacobs man was transported to Grand River Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the motor vehicle did not sustain any injuries resulting from the collision.
No charges are pending at this time.
