Incident # 12-210387 Type : Industrial Accident
BLACKHORNE DR, KITCHENER
On Thursday September 6th, 2012 at approximately 2:20 p.m. emergency services responded to a residence on Blackhorne Drive in the city of Kitchener for a workplace accident.
A contractor, a 37 year old Kitchener male, was replacing a roof and then fell while climbing down a ladder. The male was transported to Grand River Hospital with serious injuries.
The Ministry of Labour was notified and attended the scene to continue the investigation. Any further inquiries into this incident should be made to the Ministry of Labour.
Incident # 12-210258 Type : Robbery
KING ST N, WATERLOO
On September 6, 2012 at approximately 11:15 am an unknown male entered the "Queen of Hearts Costumes" store located at 91 King St N, Waterloo and approached the cashier brandishing a knife and demanding money. The cashier called police and the male left on foot eastbound across King St N and down Young St. The victim sustained a minor injury from the altercation with the male.
The male is described as male white, 30-35 yrs of age, short black hair, 200 lbs, 6'2", wearing a red t-shirt, and blue jeans.
