Police appeal for information to identify suspicious person

On Sunday December 9, 2012, just before noon, a 10 year old boy was approached by an unknown male while in the bathroom of the Wal-Mart on Ottawa St. S. in Kitchener.

Police are investigating allegations that some inappropriate comments were made that frightened the boy. The boy quickly exited the washroom.

The investigation is continuing and Waterloo Regional Police are appealing for any information that would like to identify the male whose image was captured on security cameras. The unknown male was described as having brown skin, 5'7", approximately 30-40 years of age, wearing a black winter coat, blue jeans, and cream style work boots.  Three images are attached..

Anyone with information is asked to contact Central Detectives 519 650 8500 ext. 4499 or Crime Stoppers 1 800 222 8477.
