Police arrest third male in Kitchener homicide investigation

For Immediate Release: October 17, 2012

Waterloo Region, ON – Waterloo Regional Police Homicide Detectives have arrested a third person in connection with the shooting death of Adam Tyler Jones.

Tyrone Carlton WINT, 22 years of Kitchener, was arrested without incident in Kitchener. He stands jointly charged with First Degree Murder along with Kadeem Gabriel, 21 years, who was arrested and charged last week.

WINT is to appear in court today to answer to the charge.

Also under arrest in connection with this incident is Jerome Dominque Phillips, 20 years.  He is charged with Accessory After the Fact.

Adam Tyler Jones, 25, died September 6, 2012 as a result of a single gunshot wound during an incident in a parking lot on Belmont Avenue West in Kitchener.  

The investigation continues, however no further arrests are anticipated at this time.
