Police investigate suspicious death in Kitchener

For Immediate Release:  February 20, 2012

Waterloo Region, Ontario – Waterloo Regional Police continue to investigate the death of an elderly Kitchener resident.

Just after 5:00 am on Monday February 20, 2012, emergency services responded to Perkell Place and found a deceased male inside a residence.

The investigation by Central Division Detectives is continuing with the assistance of the Homicide Branch.

The body was removed from the scene and taken to Hamilton pending a post mortem examination.

Police continue attempts to contact next of kin.
