Incident # 13-134514    Type : Robbery    
HOWE DR, KITCHENER
At approximately 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 13, 2013, a 19 year old Kitchener male was approached by two males in the area of Howe Drive in Kitchener.

The males attempted to rob the victim. One of the suspects then produced a pellet gun and repeatedly shot at the victim. The suspects then fled on foot.

The victim was treated at a local hospital for minor injuries. Nothing was taken during the robbery.

PARK ST, KITCHENER
On Tuesday June 11, 2013 at approximately 9:30 pm Waterloo Regional Police and Kitchener Fire Department responded to a fire near the GEXR railway tracks in the area of Victoria Street and Park Street in Kitchener. A number of abandoned railway ties had been set on fire.

Witnesses described three youths seen leaving the area.

A number of complaints were received by police from the Concordia Club over the past month regarding their Oktoberfest tickets being re-sold for excessive prices over the internet. As a result of an investigation conducted by the Service's Oktoberfest Policing Unit, two persons have been charged under the Ticket Speculation Act.

Waterloo Region, ON – Sixty Waterloo Region children ages 8-12 will be recognized for their contribution to community service at a special ceremony Wednesday June 19, 2013.

The children, selected by Waterloo Regional Police Community Resource officers and local community organizations, will receive a new Raleigh mountain bike and helmet for their involvement in the Tim Horton’s ‘Earn-a-Bike’ program.

FREDERICK ST, KITCHENER
On the 9th of June 2013 at 3:44am Emergency Services were called to 385 Frederick St. in the City of Kitchener for the report of a large fire.

Kitchener Fire Department arrived and extinguished a fire that had occurred in the garden center.

One adult male was located in the area and arrested by Police for setting several wooden pallets on fire.

Damage is estimated at $500

On June 6, 2013 in the early morning hours police conducted a traffic stop of a motor vehicle for a highway traffic act offence on Kinzie Ave in the city of Kitchener.

The driver provided false identification and was subsequently arrested.

Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at approximately 9:30 p.m., a 18 year old Waterloo female was walking on Cedar Street South near Courtland Avenue, in Kitchener, when an unidentified male approached from behind and began to yell at her.

South Division detectives are releasing the attached security camera images and are requesting the public’s help for information that will help identify a robbery suspect. 

Synopsis:
On June 5th, 2013, at 4:14 a.m., a male suspect entered the Short Stop at 175 Beverly Street in the City of Cambridge, stated to the clerk he had a gun and demanded cash from the register.   The male left with an undisclosed amount of cash.   

No injuries were reported.

On June 5th, 2013, at 4:14 a.m., a male suspect entered the Short Stop at 175 Beverly Street in the City of Cambridge, stated to the clerk he had a gun and demanded cash from the register.
The male is described as white, approximately 30 years old, 5'8", blonde hair in a faux hawk, blue eyes, medium build, wearing a black fleece hoodie, jean shorts, white socks and running shoes.
