Civilian Overview: Civilian members are hired to provide for a specific service directly related to a particular area of expertise such as Special Constables, Communications, Records Clerks, Switchboard Operator, Information Technology, Human Resources, Forensic Technicians, Secretarial positions.

Salary Schedules 2010-2011:
Please note that grade levels can be found within the job description for each position. Please click on Job Descriptions to see the list of civilian jobs. Below is the civilian salary range table.

Grade B   

 $38,385 - $45,159

Grade C   

 $43,287 – $50,926

Grade D  

 $48,809 - $57,423

Grade E  

 $55,034 - $64,746

Grade F  

 $62,045 – $72,994

Grade G  

 $69,946 – $82,290

Grade H  

 $78,860 - $92,777

Civilian Shift Rotation
Many of our civilian positions follow a 35-day shift rotation.  Typical shift hours: Days 7am – 5pm; Afternoons 1pm-11pm; Nights 11pm- 7am.

These positions include:

• Records Clerk
• Communicator
• Front Desk Clerk
• PC Support Technician
• Platoon Team Leader, Records Branch
• Special Constable (Cellblock assignment)

Please note: Certain other positions follow a modified version of this 35 day shift schedule. Please check with the Human Resources Civilian Recruiter for more information. Completion of a Personal History Form may be requested during the selection process. Please do not submit this form unless requested.
