Wanted: Mark Robert LUCAS, 25, for firearms offences

Waterloo Region, ON – Waterloo Regional Police have issued a Canada-Wide Warrant for the arrest of Mark Robert LUCAS, 25 years, in connection to an ongoing investigation into illegal firearms activities.
LUCAS faces the following charges: Possession of Prohibited or Restricted Firearm with Ammunition; Unauthorized Possession of Firearm; and Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm.
LUCAS’ last known address was in Kitchener and police believe he may have fled Waterloo Region in an attempt to avoid arrest. Police have recovered the firearms involved in this matter.
Police urge the public not to approach LUCAS as he may be armed and is considered dangerous.

The Waterloo Regional Police Service is committed to ensuring public safety and will continue efforts to locate and remove illegal firearms from the streets of the community and identify those individuals responsible for firearms- related offences.
