Waterloo Regional Police continue to investigate  an incident that occurred June 30, 2012 around 4:50am in which three males were shot while walking on Wellington Street near King Street in Kitchener.

On Monday, May 14, 2012, at approximately 11:00 a.m. a lone male suspect entered the Bank of Nova Scotia located at 601 Doon Village Road, Kitchener.

The male produced a note to bank employees demanding money. No weapons were seen or used during this incident.

The suspect is White, 25-30 years, approx. 175 lbs. and was wearing faded blue jeans, black hooded "kangaroo" style jacket, red/white polka dot ball cap on backwards.

An undisclosed amount of cash was surrendered to the suspect who fled on foot without further incident.

On January 30th 2012 at approximately 1:42am, 2 suspects entered the Little Short Stop on Norfolk Rd. in Cambridge demanding money and cigarettes. The two suspects fled on foot to a vehicle with money and cigarettes.

Suspect #1 is described as a White male, mid 20's, approx 5'6" medium build. brown hair, hazel eyes and a round face. A small nickel sized scrape in the middle of his chin, and a scrape on the right jaw/neck. The suspect was wearing a dark grey jacket with a hood that comes out of the collar.

On October 15, 2011 at approximately 7:30 a.m., an unknown male entered the Mac's Milk Convenience Store located at 115 Christopher Drive, Cambridge (Brierdale Plaza). The male, armed with a hammer, approached the clerk and smashed the glass counter top. The male grabbed several lottery tickets and then walked behind the counter. The clerk fled the store. The male took several packages of cigarettes before fleeing the store.

On the 18th of August, 2011, at approximately 4:00pm, an elderly female had her wallet stolen while grocery shopping in New Hamburg. The wallet had been placed in her purse, in the top of her grocery cart.

It is believed that a male and female suspect were attempting distraction thefts. Other shoppers reported being crowded by the pair.

The public are reminded to be vigilant while shopping and keep their valuables secure.
