On Wednesday July 13, 2011 at approximately 2:30pm an 87 year old Kitchener female was at a pharmacy on Fairway Road South in the city of Kitchener.
As she walked around the store with her white cane visible in her shopping cart, she was approached by a male who asked for her assistance with reading a label.
While the victim explained to the male that she could not help him with the label as she was legally blind, a female suspect reached into the victim's purse and stole her wallet.
The victim did not realize until much later what had happened. No injuries resulted from this incident.
Suspect Descriptions:
White male, dark complexion, 25-30, average build, average height. He wore a white Aeropostale shirt with the number 87 and a emblem resembling a bull dog, white and black pattered hat and dark-rimmed glasses.
White male, 20- early 20's, light scruff on his chin, wearing a gray solid baseball hat and black t-shirt with checked long pants and flip flops.
A female also sought is described as white, late teens, black, shoulder length hair, white shirt with a pattern, tan colored shorts.
One of the victim's credit cards was used shortly after the theft at an electronic's store on Fairway Road South, just down the street from where the theft occurred.
