The Major Case Unit is releasing the attached composite image in connection with an incident in Waterloo on August 15, 2011 and are appealing to the public for any information that could help identify the suspect.   

On the 15th day of August 2011, at approximately 3:40 p.m. an adult female was conducting renovation work within a vacant building on University Ave East near King St. North in Waterloo.

Waterloo Regional Police are requesting the public’s help identifying a male and a female in connection with a theft in New Hamburg and are releasing the attached security camera images.  The following information was previously released:

Synopsis:
On the 18th of August 2011 at approximately 4:00pm, an elderly female had her wallet stolen while grocery shopping in New Hamburg. The wallet had been placed in her purse, in the top of her grocery cart.

On Wednesday July 13, 2011 at approximately 2:30pm an 87 year old Kitchener female was at a pharmacy on Fairway Road South in the city of Kitchener.

As she walked around the store with her white cane visible in her shopping cart, she was approached by a male who asked for her assistance with reading a label.

While the victim explained to the male that she could not help him with the label as she was legally blind, a female suspect reached into the victim's purse and stole her wallet.

Waterloo Regional Police are requesting the public’s help identifying several males in connection with a fraud investigation and are releasing the attached security camera images as well as the information below:

Synopsis:
Waterloo Regional Police continue to investigate a series of fraud offences that are believed to have originated in the Cambridge with similar incidents reported in Guelph, Hamilton and St. Catharines.

Suspects allegedly set up fraudulent bank accounts in May 2011 and then accessed funds from those accounts.

Synopsis:

On July 21, 2011 at approximately 1:45 a.m., a 21 year old Waterloo female was walking along Bricker Avenue in Waterloo.

An unknown male approached from behind and grabbed her, knocking her to the ground. She was then sexually assaulted.

Several people in the area came to the victim's assistance while the suspect fled on foot.

On the 25 June 2011, two males entered a retail store in Waterloo.

On December 1, 2010, between 8 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. unknown suspects entered the apartment complex at 425 Wilson Avenue, Kitchener. Watch video . Once inside, they entered 3 separate apartments where numerous items were taken.  Police are attempting to identify two males captured on video surveillance.

Waterloo Regional Police Division #3 Detectives are looking for assistance in identifying two males connected with the theft of laptop computers from the University of Waterloo campus.

On November 8th, 2010, several university students were approached during daylight hours and their laptop computers were taken. There was no violence involved in the thefts and no one was injured.
