The Waterloo Regional Police Service is continuing to investigate an incident that occurred at Conestoga Mall on Friday, January 4, 2019, at approximately 8 p.m. Staff at the mall received a report that a male, who was in a wheelchair, made inappropriate comments to two young girls who were standing outside the Zhers store, near a photo booth, at the mall. A woman who was at the mall reported this incident to staff but left the mall prior to police arrival. Police are looking for assistance in locating the female who made the initial report, as well as any other people who may have information about the incident. The suspect is described as a white male in his 60's, heavy set with short grey hair. He was wearing dark clothing at the time of the incident and his wheelchair had a pole attached to it with a red flag at the top. On January 4th, 2018 between 8:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m., a male approached two young girls in the Zehr's store at the Conestoga Mall in Waterloo. The male made inappropriate sexual comments to the girls. Police are continuing to investigate. The suspect is described as a white male, 60 years old with short grey hair.
