Waterloo Regional Police Investigate Homicide

Waterloo Region, Ontario –  The Waterloo Regional Police Service’s Major Crime Unit is investigating a homicide that occurred in Cambridge on Monday, November 19, 2018.

Police responded to a report of a shooting in the area of Christopher Drive and Champlain Boulevard around 8:10 p.m.

A male was located in the area with serious injuries and transported to hospital. He was later pronounced deceased. 

The victim has been identified as Bradley Pogue, 24, from Cambridge.

A post-mortem is scheduled to be conducted in Hamilton today.

Police believe the parties involved in this incident are known to each other.

There will be an increased police presence in the area as the investigation continues by our Major Crime Unit, General Detectives and Forensic Identification officers.
