Waterloo Regional Police Arrest Male in Connection to Break and Enters

Waterloo Region, Ontario Waterloo Regional Police have arrested a Cambridge male in connection to several break and enters in the Region of Waterloo and surrounding areas.

The break and enters occurred to four businesses from January 31 to March 18, 2019, in Kitchener and Cambridge.

On April 11, 2019, a 52-year-old Cambridge male was arrested and charged with eight counts of Break, Enter and Commit, Break and Enter with Intent, Attempt Break and Enter, Possession of Break and Enter Instruments, Possession of Stolen Property under $5000 and Possession of a Schedule I Substance. The male is also facing charges outside of Waterloo Region, including Guelph.

As a result of the break and enters, approximately $100,000 was caused in property damage and approximately $150,000 in product loss.

The male was scheduled to appear in Kitchener’s Ontario Court of Justice on April 12, 2019.
