Waterloo Regional Police Continue to Investigate Homicide

Waterloo Region, Ontario Waterloo Regional Police are continuing to investigate the death of a 23-year-old Kitchener male, which occurred during the early morning hours of April 15, 2018.

Police responded to a report of an altercation outside a Kenora Avenue residence in Kitchener at 12:05 a.m. Upon arrival, a male was found suffering from an alleged stab wound. He was taken to hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

The deceased has been identified as Lam Diing. A post-mortem determined the cause of death to be stabbing.

Nicholas Salim Ndayisenga, 22, from Kitchener, has been charged with one count of Second Degree Murder. He is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Kitchener today.

The victim and accused were known to each other.
