CREST Waterloo Region, Ontario – Waterloo Regional Police are continuing to investigate the death of a 20-month-old child from Kitchener.
On February 21, 2019, at approximately 12 p.m., police responded to a residence on Heritage Drive after receiving a 9-1-1 call concerning a child in distress.

SUV Waterloo Region, Ontario – Waterloo Regional Police are continuing to investigate a homicide that occurred in Cambridge on January 31, 2019.
Police responded to a residence on Southwood Drive in Cambridge around 6:25 a.m. for a report of an injured male.
Upon arrival, police located a male suffering from serious injuries. The male, Kurt McKechnie, 56, from Cambridge, was taken to hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
