LoneStar - Facebook and Twitter Waterloo Region, Ontario –  Waterloo Regional Police will once again trade in their uniforms for country attire, including boots, plaid shirts, and jeans in support of Special Olympics. This fun event raises money for the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics.

Since January 2019,  officers have charged more than 50 motorists with Stunt Driving within Waterloo Region.
Speeding and aggressive driving can often lead to other behaviours, such as following too close, and making unsafe lane changes. This type of driving can often lead to collisions.

Pride Flag WPRS Waterloo Region, Ontario – The Waterloo Regional Police Service would like to extend an invitation to all of its local media partners, members of the LGBTQ2S+ community, as well as community members, to attend a flag raising ceremony as WRPS prepares to celebrate PRIDE with our local community in 2019.
