Police Arrest 17-year-old Male for Driving through Baseball Diamond in Kitchener

Waterloo Region, Ontario – Members of the Waterloo Regional Police Service’s Neighbourhood Policing North Division have made an arrest after reports of a vehicle seen driving through a baseball diamond area in Kitchener.

On November 17, 2021, at approximately 9:10 p.m., police responded to the area of Victoria Street South and Eastforest Trial and located a vehicle stuck on the grass in the outfield.

The vehicle had caused a significant amount of damage to the surrounding turf at the baseball diamond. The damage is estimated to be between $15,000 to $20,000.

A 17-year-old Kitchener youth has been arrested and charged with mischief over $5000 and dangerous operation of a vehicle.
