WRPS Arrest Male in Connection to Sexual Assault Investigation in Waterloo

UPDATED MEDIA RELEASE:

Waterloo Region, Ontario – Waterloo Regional Police have laid additional charges in connection to an ongoing sexual assault investigation.

In March 2024, police received a report of a historical sexual assault that took place between 2008 and 2009.

On April 10, 2024, Steven Lehmann, a 52-year-old male from Woolwich Township, was arrested and charged with sexual assault and sexual exploitation.

On July 3, 2024, as part of the ongoing investigation, Steven Lehmann was arrested and charged with two additional counts of sexual assault in connection to incidents in 2008 involving a second separate victim.

The accused is scheduled to appear in court on August 13, 2024.

Investigators believe there may be more victims and are asking anyone with information to contact police at 519-570-9777.

Waterloo Region, Ontario – Waterloo Regional Police Service’s Special Victims Unit investigators have arrested a male in connection to a sexual assault investigation in Waterloo.

In March 2024, police received a report of a historical sexual assault that took place between 2008 and 2009.
