Waterloo Regional Police Continuing to Investigate Robbery in Kitchener

Robbery investigation ongoing

Waterloo Region, Ontario – On January 4, 2022, at approximately 6:55 p.m., police responded to the area of Westmount Road East and Ottawa Street South in Kitchener for a report of a robbery.

Two suspects entered the business and used the threat of physical violence to demand merchandise from a store employee.

The two suspects exited the business with stolen merchandise and fled the area.

Suspect one was described as a Black male, approximately 6’0”, with an average build. The male was wearing a black hoodie with the hood up, a black and cream zip-up jacket, black and white pants, black shoes, black and white gloves, and a black mask.

Suspect two was described as a Black male, approximately 5’10”, with a slim build. The male was wearing a black hoodie with a white logo on the front and the hood up, black pants with a white stripe, black shoes, black gloves and a black mask.

There were no physical injuries reported.

The investigation is ongoing.
