Waterloo Regional Police Investigating Break and Enters in South Kitchener

Break and enter investigation.

Waterloo Region, Ontario – Members of the Waterloo Regional Police Service's Break, Enter, and Vehicle Theft Team are investigating three incidents in Kitchener.

On January 11, 2022, between 5:25 a.m. and 5:50 a.m., police received three break and enter reports in the area of Doon South.

In one incident, an unknown suspect entered the victim’s vehicle and garage before attempting to gain entry to the residence through the front door with a key. The suspect fled the area immediately upon hearing a dog bark from inside the residence.

Investigators are looking to identify and speak to this individual in connection to this incident.

The investigation is ongoing.
