UPDATED MEDIA RELEASE:
Waterloo Region, Ontario – WRPS' Special Victims Unit has laid charges in connection to a sexual assault in Cambridge.
As a result of the ongoing investigation, an 81-year-old Cambridge male has been arrested and charged with several sex-related offences, including sexual assault.
The accused was released with a court date on January 9, 2023.

Waterloo Region, Ontario – Members of the Waterloo Regional Police Service's Special Victims Unit are investigating a report of a sexual assault.
On November 3, 2022, at approximately 7:40 p.m., a female youth advised that she was sexually assaulted at the Galt Arena Gardens by a male suspect.
There were no reported physical injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
