On April 28, 2021, at approximately 11 p.m., Waterloo Regional Police responded to the area of Cayley Court in Kitchener for a report of a disturbance.
While on scene, an adult male became aggressive and assaulted police.
As a result of the investigation a 29-year-old Kitchener male was arrested and charged with Overcoming Resistance to Commit Indictable Offence- Attempt to Choke, Assault a Peace Officer, Assault with intent to resist arrest.
One officer sustained minor injuries.
