A Waterloo Male is Arrested After a Province Wide Child Pornography Investigation

Waterloo Region, Ontario – Waterloo Regional Police have arrested a Waterloo male after a province wide child pornography investigation.

In February 2025, the Waterloo Regional Police Service’s Cybercrime - Internet Child Exploitation Unit, participated in the Provincial Internet Child Exploitation Strategy Project Steel. 

On April 3, 2025, police arrested a 28-year-old male, charging him with one count of Possession of Child Pornography

The Waterloo Regional Police Service is a member of the Ontario Provincial Strategy to Protect Children from Sexual Abuse and Exploitation on the Internet. This project has been made possible by a grant from the Ministry of the Solicitor General.
