Community Partners to Hold Live-Streamed Media Briefings During St. Patrick's Day

Waterloo Region, Ontario – The Waterloo Regional Police Service, Region of Waterloo Paramedic Services, Waterloo Fire Rescue Services, and the City of Waterloo will hold two media briefings throughout the day on March 17, 2020.

These briefings will be live-streamed and will provide updates on St. Patrick’s Day. Media requesting follow-up questions are asked to do so via phone or e-mail.

Spokespersons include:

Constable Ashley Dietrich and Constable Andre Johnson, Waterloo Regional Police Service

Deputy Chief Kevin Petendra and Deputy Chief James Topham, Region of Waterloo Paramedic Services

Deputy Chief Ryan Schubert, Waterloo Fire Rescue

Shayne Turner, Director of Municipal Enforcement Services, City of Waterloo

The briefings will take place at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. and will be broadcast on WRPS social media accounts, including YouTube, Twitter (@WRPSToday), and Facebook (@waterlooregionalpolice).
