Four People Charged with Attempted Murder in Connection to Stolen Vehicle and Assault Investigation

On May 27, 2020, Waterloo Regional Police arrested a fourth individual in connection to a stolen vehicle and assault investigation.

A 23-year-old Cambridge male has been charged with one count of Attempted Murder and one count of Forcible Confinement. He is scheduled to appear in Kitchener’s Ontario Court of Justice on May 28, 2020.

On Thursday, February 20, 2020, at approximately 6:25 a.m., police responded to the area of Three Bridges Road in Woolwich Township for a report of a suspected stolen vehicle.

Upon arrival, police located a 21-year-old male inside a red Ford F250 truck with serious injuries. He was transported to hospital where he remains in critical condition.

Two males, aged 25 and 18, and one female, aged 18, were previously arrested. They have since been charged with one count each of Attempted Murder, Aggravated Assault, Forcible Confinement, and Possession of Stolen Property.

The 18-year-old male is scheduled to appear in Kitchener’s Ontario Court of Justice on May 29, 2020.

The 25-year-old male is scheduled to appear in Kitchener’s Ontario Court of Justice on June 20, 2020.

The 18-year-old female is scheduled to appear in Kitchener’s Ontario Court of Justice on June 22, 2020.

Police are no longer looking for any further suspects.
