Police Arest Male After Responding to Buy-And-Sell Robbery in Cambridge

Buy and Sell Robbery Investigation

Waterloo Region, Ontario – Police arrest a male after responding to a buy-and-sell robbery in Cambridge.

On November 22, 2023, at approximately 7:30 p.m., police received a report of a robbery in the area of Hillview Road and Preston Parkway.

The victim arranged to meet the suspect to purchase an item posted on a buy-and-sell website.

The suspect attended the victim’s residence and attempted to steal the item for sale. A physical altercation took place, and the victim was assaulted. The suspect then left the area in a vehicle.

The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries as a result of the incident.

As a result of the investigation, a 21-year-old Kitchener male was arrested and charged with Robbery.
