Police Arrest Driver for Impaired After Responding to Waterloo Collision

Waterloo Region, Ontario – Police arrest and charge driver with impaired driving after responding to a collision in Waterloo.

On March 29, 2025, at approximately 10:30 p.m., police responded to reports of a motor vehicle collision on Highpoint Avenue.

Through the investigation, it was determined the driver of a silver Jeep lost control and collided with a parked vehicle and fence. Officers arrested the driver for impaired. There were no injuries reported.

The driver, a 64-year-old Cambridge male was charged with the following:

  • Operation While Impaired - Alcohol and Drugs
  • Dangerous Operation
  • Failure or refusal to comply with demand

There were no injuries reported.
