
Waterloo Region, Ontario – Police have arrested and charged a male in connection to a robbery in Kitchener.
On November 5, 2022, at approximately 6:55 p.m., police responded to a report of a robbery at a business in the area of Kingsway Drive and Wilson Avenue.
A male suspect entered a business, stole merchandise and brandished a knife toward an employee. The suspect fled and was located nearby by officers.
There were no physical injuries reported as a result of this incident.
As a result of the investigation, a 36-year-old Kitchener male was arrested and charged with the following:
- Robbery
- Assault
- Assault with a weapon
- Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose
- Breach of judicial order
The male was held in police custody for a bail hearing.
