
Waterloo Region, Ontario – Waterloo Regional Police have arrested two youths after responding to a robbery in Cambridge.
On December 8, 2023, at approximately 9 p.m., police received a report of a person-on-person robbery involving a weapon in the area of King Street East and Westminster Drive South.
The victims were approached while walking on King Street East by two unknown males who attempted to take personal property from the victims.
The victims were able to flee to a place of safety, and the unknown suspects fled on foot.
There were no physical injuries.
Police subsequently identified, located, and arrested two youths in connection to this incident.
As a result of the investigation, two male youths from Cambridge have been charged with robbery with a firearm. One of the youths is facing an additional charge of assault.
