Police Charge Eight Motorists with Impaired-Related Offences over the Weekend

During the weekend of June 5 to 7, 2021, Waterloo Regional Police charged eight motorists with impaired-related offences, including a 31-year-old Waterloo female.
On June 6, 2021, at approximately 11:30 p.m., Waterloo Regional Police responded to the area of Trussler Road and Greenfield Road in North Dumfries Township after receiving several reports of a possible impaired driver.
Reports indicated that a black Acura left the roadway and was in the ditch. Upon arrival, police located a female driver and a 10-year-old passenger. No injuries were sustained a result of the incident.
As a result of the investigation, a 31-year-old Waterloo female was charged with Operation While Impaired by Drug.
