Police Charge Male after Vehicles Damaged in Cambridge

Waterloo Region, Ontario  Waterloo Regional Police have charged a male after several vehicles were damaged in Cambridge.

On April 13, 2025, police responded to a weapons-related call in the area of Hespeler Road and Dundas Street North after a complainant reported a male suspect slashing the tires of vehicles in a parking lot.

During the arrest of the male suspect, a foldable knife was located. The male also kicked one of the arresting officers.

Three vehicles were determined to have damage to their tires.

As a result of the investigation, a 30-year-old Cambridge male was charged with:

  • Mischief under $5,000 (three counts)
  • Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose
  • Assault peace officer

The accused was held in police custody for a bail hearing.
