Police Continue to Investigate a Home Invasion in Kitchener

Police continue to investigate a report of a home invasion that occurred in the area of Mill Street in Kitchener on May 19, 2021. 

At approximately 4:20 p.m., two males allegedly forced their way into a residence and threatened the residents inside.  The suspects stole personal property which was later recovered outside the residence. As a result of the incident, the victims sustained minor injuries.

Investigators are seeking the public's assistance in identifying a light coloured GMC pick-up truck that was seen fleeing the scene. 

The suspects have been described as:

Suspect 1: Male, East/Southeast Asian, wearing all black clothing, with a small build, and dark hair. 

Suspect 2: Male, White, approximately 6'2" tall, with a muscular build, short dark hair, wearing a red bandana covering his face. 

Investigators believe this was a targeted incident. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact police at 519-570-9777 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
