Police Continue to Investigate after Driver Fails to Stop in Kitchener

Waterloo Region, Ontario – Waterloo Regional Police is continuing to investigate after the driver of a vehicle failed to stop during an attempted traffic stop in Kitchener.

On June 27, 2024, at approximately 7:45 p.m., police attempted to stop a blue Audi motor vehicle after observing the vehicle being driven in a dangerous manner on Homer Watson Boulevard. The driver was observed travelling 122 km/hr and was weaving in and out of traffic.

The vehicle was last seen travelling on Huron Road towards Fischer-Hallman Road around 7:50 p.m.

The vehicle is described as a blue, four-door Audi sedan.

A pursuit was not initiated due to public safety concerns.

There were no physical injuries reported.

The investigation is ongoing.
