Police Continue to Investigate Kitchener Pedestrian Collision

Waterloo Region, Ontario – WRPS’ Traffic Services Unit is investigating a serious collision in Kitchener.

On April 23, 2024, at approximately 4:10 p.m., emergency services responded to reports of a collision between a motor vehicle and a pedestrian on Victoria Street South near Park Street.

The pedestrian, a 27-year-old female from Kitchener, was transported to an out-of-region hospital with serious injuries.

The driver, a 30-year-old female reported no physical injuries.

Victoria Street South was closed for several hours between Park Street and Charles Street for the investigation and has since reopened.

The investigation is ongoing and charges are anticipated.
